This is Project Sell The Nighthawk For Some Supermoto Wheels as it stands for the moment. A couple weekends ago we pushed the beast into the basement and tore into it. Of course we made sure that it wouldn't start before the fork tubes came off. Apparently, gas turns to jelly in the carbs when you let a bike sit for two months
C. replaced the choke cable most of the way while I ran to the store on the only legal and running bike to try and get a drill bit. Funny story for later.
The new fork seals came in the mail a couple of days ago and now it is up to me to decide whether I want to strap the forks to my back and ride them to a shop to swap the seals or if I want to do it myself and risk having to buy another pair and take the damn thing apart again when the new ones fail.
After that is settled, I'll be doing pads in the front and shoes in the back and replacing the turn signals with some cheap units from Schuck's since the brittle plastic stalks have broken on nearly every one.
Then I sell it to buy a set of
these and save the rest for my ND race bike.
